Dunphys Pass

Dunphys Pass is probably the first bushwalkers' pass discovered on Narrow Neck. It descends a gully near Glenraphael Swamp on to a shale ledge, which is followed to the west, before descending another gully through the lower cliff. The pass through the upper cliff was discovered by pioneer bushwalkers Myles Dunphy and Raphael (Ray) Doyle in 1914. The pass through the lower cliff was discovered in 1926 by a party including Myles Dunphy. The shale ledge was referred to by Dunphy as the Wallaby Parade.
