The next morning, our cosy little overhang

Rachel abseiling in below the blockage

Looking down to the bottom of the canyon from part way down the drop. It's a fair way in!

It's 8:30am and it's time to swim!

Swimming a still pool

Swimming under an ominous chockstone

Another swim emerges from a dark tunnel

Put your arms in the air...!

The canyon opens out into a coachwood chamber

Abseiling back in a little lower down. Not entirely necessary...

Near the end, one more swim

Rachel log walking in a nice section of creek

Beautiful pool

Open sandy section of creek. Unfortunately these were generally the exception, not the rule

Boulder scramble

Rocky slabs

Open section of creek. Much of the creek was slow going through bouldery pools, and overhanging water gums, which are hard to photograph, so you get to see the nicer bits instead!

Rachel on rock slabs approaching what we hoped might be good camping. It was crap!

Great camping at a major junction. We almost stopped on a crappy spot only five minutes upstream.
