From TomC:
To save some time, my character needs to be trained for 6th Circle. You have previously mentioned two nethermancers in town (one with a pledge coin and one that is nice). Now we have some money I may actually be able to go to the nice nethermancer (oxymoron - I know). If we could sort this out prior to play it will save some game time.
From GM Giles:
Tom, consider some alternative plans if training isn't an option
From Sian:
Tom, we are only in town for 2 days and then we are heading back to the second kaer to see if we can get the rest of the dagger set. We can't stay in town any longer or we risk losing our ride to the kaer, although you could probably magic us up some steeds to ride there on. Maybe you could go up a circle when we get back as I imagine that we would have lots of time to waste as progress on the boat hadn't come along as expected (although that may have been Giles' way of getting us to go back to the kaer :)
From TomC:
How long are we likely to spend in checking out this other kaer?
From Sian:
Depends how many big bad things there are. Not too many I wouldn't think as our friends whom we saved were planning on going in there and they are pretty tough. They mightn't have bothered to knock off all the baddies though.
I wouldn't have thought that we would want to spend too long in there at all.
From TomC:
Well if the big bad things that are there are big and bad enough then we may be rescuing the good guys again (or dying horribly in the attempt). Sounds like fun - count me in. TomC (aka Aramis)
From GM Giles:
Surely the time depends on how many days you guys spend on you arses recovering from wounds?
From TomC:
So it could take a month. ;-P
From Sian:
You see that is why I am an archer. I can attack things from a long long long way away and if they decide to come closer then I also happen to be a very fast runner. If that doens't work I also have this chicky babe who likes me and who produces this wonderful light thingy that the bad things bouce off. I think my arse is pretty well covered so the stay in town should be pretty short.
;) Ethilion
From TomC:
If this is the case, how come you died last time we went into the kaer we are about to go back to?
;-)
From Sian:
How rude!
