A brief rundown from Sian and BenK

Sian: We rounded up the slaves and gave them a brief rundown about us and what we were doing. We offered them passage back to the boat and the underground islands (from there they would have to work out how to get back to the surface).

BenK: We had planned to escort them back out when we got the chance, but as our plans are still in flux, we couldn't promise.

Sian: All decided to come with us except two, who wanted to be in Throal sooner and they risked a mountain trek.

BenK: One of them was a Jerissian Air Sailor, who refused to speak to us after recognising the Prince, and claiming that he was horror tainted (aparently there is a significant propaganda campaign going on at home).

Sian: We questioned the two wounded trolls who told us nothing really. Killed them. Went back downstairs to find that the hole which we had gotten to the staircase though had been sealed up (presumably by Earthroot). Tom/Kerac probably knows more about this but is not telling.

BenK: He's also now normal sized, and made of obsidian - mmmmm ... shiney The Troll is also following us.

Sian: We left the slaves at a watchhouse a bit further down were they should be all right for a week or two. Went a bit further and found a hole leading to a ledge. Saw a griffin's nest - I went to investigate and was attacked by a flying lizards thingy whilst ...

BenK: Actually, it was an Esparga, the same beastie that the Cloak that I normally wear (stolen with the rest of my gear) is made of. It nearly got away carrying me, but a couple of epic hits from the magic bow and arrow, and everything's fine.

Sian: ... meditating for beastmaster karma (maybe I need more practice!!). We killed the lizard thingy and I found a baby griffin which I rescued. We finshed there (around 12.30) and I stayed awake the whole time!!

BenK: She came close several times, but finally managed it. I think the Black Forest cake had something to do with it.
