A brief rundown from BenG

Went to the steps. Journeyed up. Met a troll who said his people were behaving dishonourably and needed help. Went to help them. Aramis animated a statue of Verjigorm which proceeded to eat everything in sight. Spent ages trying to kill the statue. Fought some trolls (the rest ran off). Jen got knocked unconscious (part strain, part damage, part stupidity), and are now preparing to recuperate (wait for TomB) and head downstairs to fight the horror.
