Some thoughts from Kerac:

I am a bit concerned about this "disease" that I have as it is rapidly causing me to lose strength. It has only been 3 months since it happened (the mist in Parlainth, presumably) and despite the fact that the healer said I should return to my Liferock within a year and a day, I have lost a significant amount of toughness. As a result, I would like to head west as quickly as possible.

The other thing I would like to try and do is to free the bound earth spirit at the canal. The fact that Jen has dreamed about it only makes it more important. I also feel that it may be able to help me with my sickness.

To do that I would like to do some research on binding and freeing, in particular on my staff which may have some powers in that direction.

My preference is to head to Throal as quickly as possible, accomplish what we need to in Throal, and then head towards Jerris, possibly via the canal. It is possible that Throal may send a mission to Iopos which we could join.

I don't think there is much in Tansiarda that we cannot find in Throal, so is there much point in staying?
